Lindsay started racing go-karts in 1995 at the North Florida Kart Club's events. The NFKC events were held at 103rd Street Sports Complex in Jacksonville, FL. Lindsay raced in a Briggs class to begin with and then moved up to the Yamaha Light class. With that move she also started racing in State Divisional races and at Manufacturer's Cup (National) races.
